What Data We Process and Why
- Orders and Customer Account: Name, shipping and billing addresses, email, phone number, order and payment details, loyalty points, and recommendations; for gifts and gift cards, also the name, address, or email of the recipient. Purpose: To process orders, deliver products, provide customer service, administer the loyalty program, and maintain accounting records.
- Contact: Please contact us via email, phone, or WhatsApp; we will use the information you provide to respond. The WhatsApp button will only connect you to WhatsApp (Meta) once you click it.
- Abandoned Orders: If you enter your email address at checkout without completing the order, we will save your contact information and shopping cart and may send you a reminder via email.
- Reviews: After you place an order, we'll send you an email inviting you to review your purchase, and we'll be able to see whether the email was opened. We publish reviews using the name you provide.
- Emails about products and promotions: As a customer, you will occasionally receive emails about our products and promotions. To send these emails, we synchronize your name, email address, and order history with Mailchimp. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the link in each email or by sending us a message.
- Website Visits: When you visit the website, technical data is collected (IP address, browser, time of visit, pages viewed). We use this data for operational, security, and statistical purposes.
The legal basis for this includes the fulfillment of your contract, legal obligations, our legitimate interests (e.g., security, statistics, marketing to existing customers), and, where necessary, your consent.
Cookies, Statistics, and Advertising
We use essential cookies (e.g., for the shopping cart, login, and language). To analyze visits and measure the effectiveness of our advertising, we also use:
- Google Analytics and Google Ads (Google)
- Meta Pixel and Conversions API (Facebook/Instagram); for orders, encrypted (hashed) contact information is also collected so that Meta can associate purchases with an ad
- Jetpack Statistics and WooCommerce Analytics (Automattic)
- Mailchimp Website Script (Mailchimp)
For visitors from the EEA (including Liechtenstein) and the United Kingdom, Google services run without cookies by default. You can delete or block cookies in your browser at any time and turn off personalized ads on Google and Meta.
